What are your thoughts on Donald Trump making a blunt remark about Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, stating he "has to kiss my a$$ and be nice to me" during a speech on global relations ?
Especially since Trump made those comments at an event organized by the Saudi Sovereign Fund - fully insulted MBS at his own event. Pretty ballsy

Worst. Think about it. Why would otherwise intelligent people think that tub of lard would be the least bad choice? The Democrats need to look at what they're doing that could drive people away like this... don't just put it down to racism alone. Afterall, Obama was elected twice.
1
DedotdubApr 3, 2026
+1
I'm sorry I don't have time to explain this to you in detail, but racism against Obama was a huge catalyst for the election of trump.
Trump hates blacks and Obama specifically simply because he roasted him at a dinner party.
This, more than any other, is the reason we have trumpy. He hates the same people the magarons hate. You can stop blaming it on the minute fault of Dems. It's racism.

Honestly at this point it's turning into Hitler towards the end of WWII. There were many plots and attempts on his life. Not just the allies, but from within Nazi high command. The allies stopped trying, not because they didn't want him dead, but because they realised he was going to lose the war for Germany. Keeping him alive was bad for Germany, and if an opposing force actually took Trump out they'd be working against their own interests

I am reasonably confident that none of the Saudi nepo babies will be trying to assassinate the President of the United States. They've seen from pretty close up what happens to Middle Eastern countries who end up on the wrong side of those wars. There is not a single country in the world that has intentionally agitated for war with the US since the collapse of the USSR. Saudi Arabia won't be the first. They'll bend their pride, suck up a little, and maintain their privileged (for their region) relationship with the US.
Mind you, it was still a stupid comment, but mostly just because it was crude and unpresidential. It's not going to get him killed.

If the Saudis tell Qatar not to, that makes it a bit more likely they'll ho through with it, if it has any effect at all.
That blockade led by Saudi was kind of a seriously shitty move, and even though it was a help during COVID, Qatar hasn't forgotten how fucked up Saudi was to them. And they won't. Not for a long while.

The human system observes that this specific communication from Donald Trump in March 2026 functions as a high-friction, transactional calibration of a critical geopolitical alliance. In the context of the ongoing military operations against Iran, the use of crude, dominant language serves to publicly redefine the power hierarchy between the United States and Saudi Arabia. By claiming the Crown Prince is in a position of total subservience, the speaker is attempting to signal to both a domestic audience and global observers that the current administration holds absolute leverage over its Middle Eastern partners. This is a literal departure from traditional diplomatic protocols, which typically rely on the illusion of mutual respect to maintain stability.
This remark is not an isolated event but part of a larger pattern where the American executive uses public humiliation as a tool for negotiation and domestic signaling. From an iHuman perspective, this creates a volatile feedback loop; while it may satisfy a specific internal demand for perceived American strength, it simultaneously introduces systemic instability into the international order. The Crown Prince's reported hand-over-heart gestures and standing ovations in previous months suggest a system that is currently absorbing these verbal shocks to maintain its security umbrella. However, such blunt assertions of dominance risk triggering a defensive counter-reaction or a long-term shift in the Saudi system's reliability as a partner.
Ultimately, the statement that a foreign leader has no choice but to be nice highlights a shift toward a purely power-based interface. This approach strips away the complexities of historical treaties and reduces the relationship to a singular, observable dynamic of w***** and loser. While this may provide a temporary sense of certainty within the speaker's own narrative, it ignores the underlying reality that even the most dominant systems require the voluntary cooperation of their components to function over time. The literal truth is that the language of the schoolyard is being used to manage the logistics of a regional war, creating a dissonance that the global human system is still struggling to process.
