The Black Company by Glen Cooke. It's like what would happen in reality in a fantasy story. It's both bleak and entertaining in what was a unique way.

Probably the Hunger Games. I love dystopian settings, and I still get goosebumps when I rewatch the movies (the first one in particular)

**Memento**—mostly because if I’ve already seen it, I’ve probably forgotten the beginning anyway, so it’s the only movie that actually honors its own premise.
