Chester Bennington. You can be a father, seemingly happy with everything and still be in a bad place mentally

Avicii / Tim Bergling.
I enjoyed his music, but mostly he seemed so misunderstood by his crew, and like a genuinely nice person who didn't want fame or money..

When I was 14 I was in Alabama circa 1994. I was at a gas station with my teammates for the Dixie Youth World Series. A tour bus pulls up and of course we were all wondering who it could be. I go inside to use the bathroom and when i come back out there is a woman standing by the bus in skin tight salmon colored pants a jean jacket and cowboy hat. We were all joking around trying to figure out who it was when the discussion quickly turned into a dare. The dare was to walk over and slap her butt, of course nobody was that stupid except for one person, yours truly... . So after literally not much thought I walk over. She's still pumping gas and I just realized I typed this entire thing before realizing the title reads "Celebrity death" instead of "Celebrity". So I will cut it short, It was Dwight Yoakham....and after I slapped him, he slapped the shit out if me.

Obviously, it's sad when people die. I'm looking to find out who's deaths ( of people who you don't actually know but know of) actually genuinely upset you.

I cry semi regularly about Rob Halford from Judas Priest since they released the Redeemer of Souls album basically singing about aging and playing to the end. He hasnt even passed yet, but that band and him especially has been a primary addition to my life since birth. He's like a second father and mortality is scary, as is the thought of him becoming the past.

James McCaffrey, the voice of Max Payne and other amazing video game characters. He had such a unique voice and cadence, and he embodied his characters with gritty soul. I truly regret that we'll never hear more from him.

Whatever you guys do, DO NOT watch celebrity death match! You won’t leave the house by the sounds of it.

For me, and it still hurts when I watch his movies and I remember the super talented ray of sunshine he was, and how he brought so much happiness to others. All while feeling so deeply broken that he ended his life. Robin Williams.

Genuinely hurt? No celebrity that I can think of. But Loretta Lynn’s passing was difficult because her music meant so much to people very close to me (who have also passed). I am glad I was able to see her perform live.
