Went to the bowling alley with my boyfriend. Paid for 2 hours of bowling, ended up only 30 minutes of it then giving the rest of our time to a group of kids next to us because they were there after us and we're getting ready to leave because they were running out of time. Then, we went to the arcade and I won 2 Hello Kiitty food plushies.

Got my kids to school. Had sex with my wife, then we went to lunch. After lunch I played a bit of Clair Obscure Expedition 33 while waiting for the kids to get home. After the school day was over I took my daughter to her therapy session. When we got back home we went out to eat as a family. When we got home from that we played a game of Mario Party. All around a pretty good day.

Every year for over a decade I do random acts of kindness equal to my new age. My favourite is taking a congratulations card with money equal to my new age in it to the hospital for staff to give to a family whose baby will share my birthday.

My husband rented a room at our favorite hotel downtown (Bottleworks in Indy in case you're ever needing to stay in town), and then he bought me a $200 bottle of champagne. We went to the movies, drank champagne, ate red velvet cake and wagyu burgers, then fucked for hours. It was the best birthday.

I haaaate that part. I hate when everyone is staring at me, singing happy birthday way too slowly). Every year I ask to skip the song and every year I get ignored. That commenter who asked if you were 4 was mean (if you're reading this dude, ask yourself why you feel the need to be cruel to random people, and yet you think THEY are the immature one) You might be neurodiverse- for example people who are autistic often have issues with people looking at them or prolonged eye contact. Or maybe you're just shy and don't being the centre of attention. Top that off with parents who bully and guilt and force you rather than letting you actually enjoy your presents, and it's enough to make someone cry. You're ok just the way you are. I hope you enjoyed your birthday

My partner and I rented a nice hotel closer to the inner city for the night, and we had plans to go to a fancy buffet and do lots of fun activities. Would’ve been great but I started feeling pretty sick around mid-day, so all I did was nap in the fancy hotel bed until 10pm, get Indian takeout, and then go straight back to bed. Spent the rest of the week sick with a cold. Maybe this year will be better!

IRadha. It's a book about the love between radha and krishna from hindu mythology and the patriarchy in the epic Mahabharata. We talk about krishna so much but barely about radha although they are worshipped together. The author has greatly written the point of view of radha and didn't make krishna as a god rather a normal person. It's a bit slow at first and gets interesting.
