What do you all think about the claim that the characters in the boys are all going through the same arc each season, and get reset back before the next one?

Since the man plot is kill Homelander, this would make sense.
It’s a feature of the show.
However I think they show enough variety with how they try to accomplish that.

It does feel like the stakes get lower and lower considering every member of the boys is still alive by season 5. A few more kills by homelander could have driven home his role as a dangerous threat to them. Now the boys are all suped up tho its levelled things out and im here for the final showdown
