What does it mean to be human, philosophically?

Knowing life has no clear answer, but asking the question anyway.

I've read enough philosophy to know the answer to this. Featherless biped.

that's a deep one. at the end of the day, it feels like it's all about our ability to think, feel, and connect with each other while grappling with our existence.

Humans make mistakes.

Being human is the strange awareness of existing. Not just living, but knowing that you are alive… and wondering what to do with that. It’s the ability to imagine different lives, different choices, different versions of yourself… while being stuck in just one. That tension between possibility and reality might be the most human thing there is.
