It doesn't say what happens to him after

How could anyone possibly say what happened to a character after the end of the movie? There isn't an "after". He's a fictional character who only exists within that 90 minutes of movie runtime. I mean, if you want to imagine what *might have happened* to a character, you can, sure, but he's not an actual person with a life outside of the movie that kept on going.

honestly, it’s pretty open-ended. we don’t really get closure on butch, so it's up to your imagination after that brutal ending. he could’ve faced a lot more struggle or found a way to escape later, who knows?

Yeah I thought that he probably died after he they took him in I mean, he did attack them before getting in.

Honestly, no official follow-up exists, so what happens to Butch is basically left up to our imagination. Most fans just assume he stayed stuck there, which is kinda brutal, but that’s the vibe of the movie. It’s one of those “harsh reality” endings that just hits different.

Not sure, but this is one of my favorite movies of all time. Hidden gem for sure.
