What is a lesser know post 2018 show that come very close to "The Bear and The Pitt" for you?

I've seen all the popular recommendations however Shows like **Pitt, Bear, Penguin, severance** they're 8+ on IMDb and truly live UpTo that ratings. ❌ Sci-Fi thanks.

I would still put Slow Horses on the "lesser known" category because I've never met another person that has watched it outside of my immediate family.

I mean I get what you mean…but it is also nominated for ATL Emmys every year and has even won before

Chernobyl I also quite liked Scenes from a Marriage. No one really talks about it though

+1 for the amazing story telling and performances in Chernobyl, even if it reads more like fiction.

Hard to understand the hate for Sci-fi when you’ve got Severance up there. Especially when most of what can be considered ‘peak’ sci-fi these days does not overly involve space or aliens or any of that kind of stuff that I guess turns some people off. There’s been some great other recommendations already, so in addition to those, I’d add Paradise, Hijack season 1, and True Detective season 4

I know you say no sci fi, but I think you should give Andor a chance.

Was going to comment this as well. It could easily be a historical action-drama set on Earth in the 1930s if it wasn't for the fact that it takes place on multiple worlds a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

It feels just as realistic as Penguin or Severance. It is the best show to come out in the last 10 years.

Definitely Paradise. I haven’t finished season 2 yet, though.

*Station Eleven*, *Years & Years*, *Pachinko* (though it's been canceled, absolutely still worth a watch), & *Warrior* just off the top of my head.

I assume Chernobyl and Dexter: Resurrection are not lesser known, so I'll go with Mr. Inbetween and Dopesick.

The white lotus, Beef, Barry, Succession, Dark, Mr. Inbetween, Shogun

Aside from Mr. Inbetween and maybe Dark, I’m not sure I’d classify any of the other shows as lesser-known
