That hard work always pays off. It can but a lot of people work incredibly hard and still struggle because of factors outside their control

Hard work only pays off if you’re working in the right field. Digging into a wall with a spoon is hard work but won’t get you anywhere. People working 9-5 jobs is hard work but most of them are dead end.
Truth is that most people in the world do hard work, yet not everyone in the world is a millionaire.

“The recipe only takes 15 minutes.” Sure, if you’re a professional chef with every ingredient pre-measured, a kitchen the size of an aircraft hangar and you can chop an onion in 0.3 seconds. For normal humans, add 45 minutes and one minor existential crisis.

In my country (around central Africa) several adults believe that (older) men beating their wives is "okay" and will often say "it's what he's known from his era so you can't blame him much"
That alone frustrates me as someone who's lived out of Africa and witnessed both European and American cultures.
The part that irks me so much is some ladies My generation firmly believe same too.
I was chatting with this lady I liked and we went into discussing about family, and I immediately stopped when I realized no matter what violent things that I tell her My dad used to do, she'd always reply "he's the father, what can you do about it? He's the man"
Mind you I'm also an adult in my 20s.
That and religion. It's a frenzy
