What is something that is considered 'luxury' to most, but feels like a basic necessity to you?

Getting a full 8 hours of sleep. Some treat it like a bonus but I literally can't function without it

Back scritches. My wife gives me the best back scratches known to modern man. I'm hooked. A good back scratch after work just sends me to another plane of happiness.

Good pasta is absolutely worth the extra cost, especially if you're making it regularly. I learned this the hard way after years of buying the cheapest stuff and wondering why my carbonara always turned out mediocre. Once I started getting proper bronze-die pasta from the Italian section, it was like night and day - the texture holds sauce completely differently and you can actually taste the wheat. Now I budget for it like any other staple because eating bland, mushy noodles just feels wrong when you know what real pasta can do

Unlimited Mobile Data Having access to the internet at any time saves you a lot of trouble, when I was younger I had like 2gb of Data shared with my siblings, barely lasted us for a month Once driving back home we ran out of data and had to find a way to go back home not knowing the route. Having access to something as basic as Waze could've saved us +2 hours of traffic for taking the wrong path
