There were no bad places although I almost got run over while on the sidewalk by a car outside Naples (traffic was heavy) Loved the Amalfi coast

My dad went to Bangkok for a business meeting in 1981 for 2 weeks. His hosts suggested that for the weekend, he should go to Chiang Mai. He did and was blown away by the beauty of the place. I still haven't made it there. :)

I go for work every year, but I'd love to go to the National forest and see wild elephants (not the sketchy sanctaries) and nice beach resorts. Its always long drives to factories and no downtime for me.

Somalia🙃Ngl my dream destination is Somalia and I'm dead serious. Everyone's out here picking Bali or Italy and I'm looking at maps like 'hm, what about Mogadishu tho?' Beach vacation? Pass. Cocktails by the pool? Hard pass. I need that special kind of holiday where you're not sure if you're gonna make it to day 3. Peaceful travel is just not built for me fr. Plus imagine the stories. Nobody comes back from Bali with THAT level of content 💀 (My travel insurance agent has already blocked my number btw)

I never know if comments like this are serious or satire, because they could easily be either. To be as fair as possible, the US, isn't the worst country on earth, it's probably in the lower end of the top 50%, if all factors are counted, but it's absolutely not the "greatest."
