There are too many situations where the age thing becomes arbitrary. For example, my wife is one month older than me, but because we started dating at 15, technically for one month, she was an adult dating a minor haha nonce

36 years - 99 husband and 63 wife He was a client. I thought his wife was his daughter.his wife said they’ve always got stares in their hometown and when they first got married some people were very nasty towards them. They had been married 40 years. His wife died and they met and fell in love. Guy was WWII vet and stormed Utah beach.

It seriously sucks how people are so quick to judge. And I'll bet people judging their 40 year marriage couldn't keep a partner for even 5 years.

I know a couple, they're around that age, just a year more in the difference, it has always been a problem for them but they are still together

Back in the ‘60s my uncle, a widower and retired police Sergeant 57 had a woman, Rose  a friend of a friend 31 years his junior, 26 move in with him. She was the same age as his married daughter, my cousin who absolutely hated her.  Never married, no children they traveled the world. Everywhere they went most people assumed they were father and daughter.  My mom wasn’t happy about their relationship, was jealous of their adventures and forbid my siblings and I from calling her ‘Aunt’ Rose but I did anyway. I liked her and really enjoyed the meatball parmigiana hero sandwiches she loved serving.  After a cruise to Alaska he, still a vibrant healthy man of good humor and sharp as a tack was found dead in his recliner watching baseball at 89 years of age. I was absolutely shocked to learn that she passed away in her sleep 9 days later, and I honestly think it was from a broken heart.  My uncle’s granddaughter handled their funeral and burial wishes and inherited everything, his daughter, my cousin nothing.  Uncle’s granddaughter gifted me one of his pocket watches, a timepiece he purchased during one of their Middle East trips. It has Hebrew numerals.

My neighbor was like 24 when she married this 67 year old dude who owned half the buildings in our block. Wild part is they seemed actually happy together, not just some weird arrangement - saw them walking their dogs every morning and laughing at each other's jokes and stuff

On the outside, it is hard to say what any relationship is like, but if something like soulmates or any lesser form of that truly exist, maybe they really did love each other despite expectations.

The biggest age gap of someone I personally know is about 40 years. She’s younger than her stepchildren.

I saw an article recently about a 91 year old Frenchman who had a daughter with a 39 year old woman. The baby also has siblings, one of which is 60 years older than her.

My aunt and uncle were I think 40ish years apart and they had one of the best relationships I've ever seen. He sadly passed away a few years ago but I always enjoyed spending time with them.

like 23 and 55. and the 23 year old was a young man, the 55 a lady. they even married. he might have been her student. they divorced short after. he does drugs now i think. she is some kind of judge.

Friend of a friend got a woman 20+ years his senior pregnant and married her. I can't remember their exact ages but he would have been early 20s so she would have been mid 40s.

My first girlfriend in high school when we were 14 left me for a dude named Tucker that was 35 and bought her snacks. I was pissed. But she still shared her snacks with me 🤷🏾‍♂️

I met someone who was in his 70s, and his wife in her 20s. I think early 20s. He looked very pleased with himself, but I wonder how that will turn out for him in the long run.

I’ve seen quite a few old white guys, maybe in their 60s, with young Filipina women, maybe aged in their mid to early thirties. So biggest gap is around 30 years? Quite common in my area.

Tony Randall, famed actor of film, stage, and screen: November 17, 1995, at the age of 75, he married 25-year-old Heather Harlan and she had 2 children with him in 1997 and 1998. He passed away in 2004.

If we go the celebrity route you don’t have to look far… Al Pacino and his wife have a 54 year age gap and his youngest son was born in 2023. They do seem quite happy though. D*** Van Dyke and his wife also seem very happy, but I think they have like a 45-ish year age gap? His current wife could literally be his granddaughter (his eldest child is in their mid-70’s while his wife is in her mid-50’s).

Visited the Philippines and saw a lot of probably 20-29 year old girls with 60+ guys. Celebrity-wise, the biggest I remember was Anna Nicole Smith who was in her 20s and  married a 90 year old billionaire, who conveniently died a year later.

Many years ago I was at a wedding where one couple ( not the ones getting married) consisted of a boy no older than 18 and a woman in her mid 40’s. Definitely behaved as a couple and caused a fair bit of quiet discussion amongst other attendees.

Not biggest but the creepiest is this couple who lived down the street from me growing up. They have a 13 year gap. How did they meet you ask? Well the husband used to go to the park specifically to watch the wife play softball WHEN SHE WAS 12.
