I have had periods of my life where I have been addicted to peas. Sometimes I prefer processed ones too. I'm a bowl with pepper and vinegar.

Add a bit of cashew butter and a splah of water for a quick creamy sauce! A splash of lemon juice makes it even better.

I'll eat cooked peas, don't love them, but I'd sit on my ass in my veggie garden and polish off all the fresh peas available. I'm also not able to make it back to the kitchen to cook asparagus. I mostly eat it raw

My 10yo self would hate me- but that’s because he only ever had steamed Brussels sprouts. I fry mine in a mini cast iron with bacon bits and other fun add ons or I slice them and pour a fancy balsamic vinegar over it, add some fresh minced garlic…so f****** good. So many easy ways to make them delicious.

I keep saying this to my family but they refuse to have them any other way. I'm the only one who can't stand boiled or steamed sprouts.

I second kale, and massaging it with olive oil + lemonjuice + salt just makes it chefs kiss. Much more chewable - I just put it into everything. Every salad and soup

There are german towns that have traditional kale hikes. But its traditionally eaten boiled with potatoes and meat, not fresh as a salad.

it´s a very underrated veggie as many people prefer the Red variant and find the green one too bitter, but I love how fresh it tastes, great raw on a simple cheese bread, and also amazing fried or baked with various foods like a pasta dish or in a chili

Although i remeber as a kid sitting in the trolly eating that stuff raw, never understood why cartoons always portrayed it as disgusting. But i wouldn't eat it raw now

Get some broccolini. Rinse and use a clean towel to dry off water. Toss in oil and salt. Put in the air fryer (yes - air fryer) for about 5-8 minutes on about 200c/ 400f.
It will come out with a soft-crunchy stalk and delicious crispy leaves.
Also works for normal broccoli (cut up into bite sized chunks). Similar for kale (cut it up into pieces, only needs a couple minutes, don't overcook.
It's so deliciously crispy.
