What is your worst experience you’ve had with someone?

Had this roommate in tech school who would eat my food constantly and then gaslight me about it when confronted. Dude literally ate an entire chocolate cake I bought for my birthday and then tried to convince me I never bought it in the first place. Military housing made it impossible to just move out too, so I was stuck with this psycho for months.

Was with my grandma when she died. That’s up there.

Obviously we broke up after that (but should've been way before, as that was not the first time she attacked...)...

Stepmom looting/redirecting funds from my dad over 5-6 years and a major play signing over everything to her when my dad was in the hospital on a Tuesday, filing the sign over Wednesday, my Dad expecting to be released the following Monday, her pulling the plug on him on Thursday. (The signature was rejected on Friday so I got 2-3% instead of zero. Probably missed out $300-500k.)

Probably when I trusted someone and they ended up lying behind my back. It hurt more because I didn’t expect it at all. Since then I’m more careful about who I let close.

Holy shit man, that is straight up abuse and you 100 percent did nothing wrong trying to restrain her so she would stop. You’re not “on a list” because you’re bad, you’re on a list because the system believes whoever calls first and cries harder. If you can, talk to a lawyer and see if anything can be done to clear your record, and also maybe talk to a therapist because that kind of betrayal messes with your head more than people realize. At least she’s out of your life now, but yeah, you were dating a real danger story.
