Lack of communication. People expect mind reading instead of just saying what they feel

Communication problems, particularly unspoken expectations of each other.

Unrealistic expectations + poor communication. People expect mind-reading, avoid hard conversations, and then slowly replace effort with assumptions… until everything quietly falls apart.

Phones, and what surprises me is the fact that the partner would talk to their "group" of friends via chats more often than to you with such an engagment/excitment. Also, what kills most relatonship is the fact how easy we can reach out to other person again via chats, dating apps, random conversations at the gym etc.

Best way is when you are talking to your partner at the end of the day, put your phone down and give them full attention. Beverly partner deserves the others full attention when interacting in mindless conversation such as there day, there thoughts etc

There are several factors: Stress and lack of honest and open communication - not being afraid of hurting their feelings to get your point across. Pussyfooting around sensitive issues rarely resolves issues, which then go on to become serious issues. To a lessor factor: With dating apps it’s far too easy to cheat if you are so inclined. Cheater usually get caught eventually.

It’s not saying what you actually mean in fear of upsetting them instead of telling them direct

Social media is partially responsible because couples constantly know what the other is doing and many check on each other all the time.

Getting into a relationship before knowing your own boundaries and standards is just setting you up for problems

I think it’s a shift in the weighting of values.

You should look into Sternberg’s triangular theory of love. It might help you understand the balance between intimacy, passion, and commitment in your relationship.

Absolute refusal between men and women to accept and understand that they operate fundamentally different to eachother, and so they need to consistent, conscious effort to be patient, understanding, and open minded towards eachother rather than getting bitter and angry at eachother for their differences. Men and women think very differently, our brains are quite literally structurally and chemically different. We tend to just think eachother’s differences in cognition and behaviour are just wrong, but the reality is that they are jist different.

Social media. It has a lot to answer for these days, parents get lost in social media, but it’s now been proven by European courts (I think Netherlands ) that they specifically target people. So the social media company’s in my eyes are now an accomplice to helping people be disloyal

Poor communication and thinking relationships don’t take hard work and effort to stay healthy and happy!
