What movie that includes time travel do you like the most

Along the lines of Edge of Tomorrow, I guess Groundhog Day is a time travel movie too.

I love timeloop movies, edge of tomorrow is not my favorite but it's thought out really well for a time loop movie

I was so disappointed that Primer wasn't a closed loop

i recently watched primer and honestly i found it to be unwatchable (i did finish it) -- the dialog was excruciating and the color grading was more aggressive than a college art major who thinks their vision is revolutionary

I gotta give primer another try with that online guide in my hands. I wanted to watch it blind for my first time but was met with the sobering reality that I am not smart enough to follow that film

Yes. Primer. It’s so complicated. But I love that no matter how confusing, it all makes logical sense if you want to try to figure it out

The moment that Matt realises the time machine worked was the funniest thing I have seen in years. Absolutely brilliant.

I just watched it and I can't stop telling people about it! I still give "Edge of Tomorrow" the win but because they are so different it's hard to compare. Really loved it!

I had never seen the show, went blind into the movie, knowing nothing. Laughed my goddamn ass off. The guy two seats over was laughing even harder. Awesome experience

How they incorporate old footage from their old show was bonkers and so good.

The best execution of closed loop time travel, which is my favourite type. Primer is my favourite time travel movie but for different reasons.

First movie that came to my mind too. How is this not the top rated proposition. How is Harry Potter the movie that launches this discussion (and don't get me wrong, I love HP). Even Terminator is a better contender for top time traveling movie somehow. Edge of Tomorrow also deserves a top spot.

Great White Buffalo

One of the best title drops of all time "It must be some kind of...Hot Tub Time Machine" And the sequel "These guys are saying they arrived in a hot tube time machine?" "Oh okay, I got here in a hot tub time machine, too"

Wow.... It took this long to mention Donnie Darko. One of my top 10 movies. But not my top time travel movies. I think maybe Triangle would be my favorite.

One of my favorites to suggest to others. It’s a beautiful arc of a family across time, where the time travel bit is used in the story but isn’t the focal point.

Facts. Domhnall Gleason, Rachel McAdams, and Bill Nighy are perfectly cast in this drama. You will laugh, and cry, A LOT. But it is a beautiful film!

I love this film and this shaped what I aspire to be. I want to find not fame nor riches, but true contentment in life and pure happiness with my family. Although the final intended message of the film was that of the son’s eventual giving up of using his time travel powers, it was the way the father used his powers which really moved me. To spend your powers to read books or to walk down the beach with your son, it was truly mind blowing for me. We should really ought to know what truly makes us happy and what truly makes our lives beautiful.

There are two kinds of people: those who say Primer is the best time travel movie, and those who have never seen Primer.

Thank you. I don't know why this didn't pop into my head first but once I saw this I knew it was Timecrimes for sure. For anybody who doesn't love subtitles, the film is incredibly laid out and follows one character from their POV the whole time. So all of the storytelling doesn't really need that much dialogue to drive it. Plus the performances are great for such a small film. Incredible twist, and manages to keep you intrigued even once it shows its hand.

The whole thing is great. Prime example of great writing trumping a huge budget.

Oopphhh I remember reading that book when it was brand new and thinking "He obviously just wrote this so it was already prepped as a movie. At least the inevitable movie will be good" Then the movie came out and it was also terrible.

And the effects were truly wonderful and creative.

Had to scroll far down to see this one! Love it and one of my favorites. Has both the back in time and travel to the future elements. Also has the pure despair of trying to change the past being futile
