What short films have made you think about how unpredictable life is?

Posted by DarkBerryTheMovie

I saw a short film recently that stuck with me. It didn't have a clear or structured story, but it did show how life can be unpredictable. Instead of providing closure, it concentrated on small, disjointed moments that appeared chaotic, unresolved, and profoundly familiar. It made me think about how often movies try to make sense of things that are naturally chaotic. This kind of storytelling, on the other hand, seems more interested in getting to the heart of the story than making it clear. The absence of conventional structure did not appear as a deficiency; instead, it seemed to intentionally mirror the authentic human experience. I'd like to know how other people react to this way of doing things. Do movies that are vague and unpredictable make you feel more strongly, or do they risk making you feel disconnected without a clearer story structure? Are there any short films that you think do a good job of showing the balance between chaos and meaning?

totally get what you're saying about the unpredictability of life in film. "World of Tomorrow" is a great short that nails that chaotic but profound vibe—it's weird and beautiful, yet really makes you think about existence. would've loved to see what you watched!
