My great nephew just turned three. I got him a table with two chairs so that he had a table of its own for coloring, drawing, playing with the big Legos, and his magnetic blocks. It gave him his own space and he loves it.

He’s got a table and 2 chairs, loves colouring and drawing. Think I will get him Lego seems to be a popular choice :)

Legos are always an amazing choice I am 53 and I sit and build little cities with him and then he will shake the table a little bit and then we have to rebuild because the contractors gave us faulty material LMAO 🤣. If you can find the magnetic blocks he also loves building with those and I think they're cool as heck. We have a lot of fun with them.

Costumes. He wants to be a dinosaur, pirate, policeman, etc. If you need cheaper stuff go to dollartree and load up on whoopie cushions, glow sticks, handcuffs, etc. They have a great selection of c**** toys for kids.
