After 5 seasons and 8 years invested? What if kripke rug pulls you and doesnt give you any sort of payoff? Would you feel cheated? Would you follow and project kripke attaches himself to after this?
Personally, I guess I would have no choice but to keep living my life.

Homelander getting everything he ever wanted, still being unhappy and raging out, killing everyone on Earth only to be left truly alone to realize he’s the problem would also be acceptable to me.

I probably wouldn’t do anything? Depends how it all comes together. Worse case scenario I’ll b**** about it for a few minutes then go back to watching Gilmore Girls.

I mean Gen V was pretty good.

The only alternative to Homelander dying I would want (and I think I might actually want this even more) is Homelander being depowered and forced to live (imprisoned) as a powerless weakling for the rest of his life.

I'd just... deal with it? It's never been a show I personally want to rewatch for a long time if ever, so it's not like a bad ending will kill that for me like it has for other shows.
If he doesn't get killed off then they'll probably find some way to remove his powers at least so he can die naturally or something. Or if he somehow lives forever or longer than natural, he'll be in jail forever.

Complain on listnook and then move on with my life.
Wouldn't be the first show to have an ending that disappointed me, and it certainly won't be the last.

I'm expecting a cringey ending, like Starlight killing Homelander with a terrible one liner.
It will probably be Ryan that does it though, since he's not a character in the comics.
