That adults are really just children in bigger bodies, trying to figure it out as they go.

I always hated Christian churches, the people seemed fake, I hated everything about those churches and the people. I avoided them and now they run the fuckin country with their fake Christian bullshit brainwashing. Even growing up I knew it was brainwashing and now look how bad it got.

That Politicians are just liars who get away with lying because they're rich

I was always afraid of this boy growing up. I thought he would hurt me. He was autistic. Everyone told me I was being mean because of it. But there was something really wrong with him, not the autism. Thanksgiving last year he murdered someone, stabbed him to death. My bestfriend dated him when we were teenagers, I was so afraid for her safety. I ratted her out to her mom that she was sneaking out with him. She was grounded for years. But she's alive, married to another autistic person. Who won't murder her. Trust your gut.

That my dad was a superhero, during my teens and 20s that thought was not present, now that i am at the same age they had me, i'm not even half of what he was lmao. Not even talking about finances alone, i don't have the energy, body, maturity and wisdom. I need to f****** step up.

People are insecure, manipulative, selfish, vindictive, greedy, incomprehensible, spiteful, narrow-minded, and never trustworthy; all they'll ever want from me is whatever they think they can gain and/or what'll fill their wants/desires. They don't want to offer me compassion or genuine care. They want whatever they think will feel that soul sucking black hole in their hearts, and whatever happens to me is inconsequential. This first hit me at seven years old. By 8, I tried to end myself for the first time. I have no idea how my parents and little sister kept me going. Three decades later, I frequently get hospitalized several times a year, see a therapist every week, my parents lost the fight against old age and I no longer date after my third and last romantic relationship I've ever had. I cut ties with two people who used me for years and discarded me in the last month, but I know they'll be right back to demand more of what little I have left for myself. And I'll give it to them; like the insecure, sad little loser I am, who desperately wants to find anyone other than my sister and my cat to like me.

I think I was twelve when I noticed how over the centuries, world powers moved from east to west. So it may have been inevitable that the power shift would return to China.
