Stopping the habit of explaining myself to people who have already decided to misunderstand me. Save your breath for someone who actually listens instead of just waiting to argue

Worrying less about what's happening worldwide and focusing more on bettering my own community.

YESSSS. I recently stopped socials on my phone, deleted tiktok and instagram accounts. And now I spend so much more energy interacting with my friends, family, and local people in my life which is a zillion times more rewarding than being devastated each day by a firehose of negativity forced into my eyeballs in short video chunks.

Oh my gosh, I had to tell my boyfriend to stop watching the news, he was spiraling about everything, every day. My life is better because he took a step back.

Getting out of bed when the alarm goes off, not mash the button and try to sleep for 10 min more?

Reducing doomscrolling. Honestly what helped me was the fact that social media has become really f****** boring lately I also picked up crocheting and I’m working on just doing it without any videos playing in the background and just letting my thoughts flow

**If a task takes less than five minutes, do it now - not later. Saving it for the end is just procrastination in disguise.**

Doing the 2-minute rule: if it takes under 2 minutes, do it now.

Slowing down - eat slowly, walk slowly, speak slowly, shower slowly, wear dress slowly. (I don't mean to to do everything in slow motion. Just don't rush) When you pay attention to do everything slowly, you will discover new interesting details about everything you have been doing for years. Life will feel more fulfilled.

Having specific audio books that i can only listen to when doing certain things, such as house work or working out. Do I want to know what's next in the current Dungeon Crawler Carl book? Gotta go for a run. How about whatever Stephen King book I'm currently listening to? I'm sure something needs cleaning. It's really helped me to do the things I normally really struggle with because I think of it more as engaging with one of my favorite hobbies instead of working out or cleaning.

I have stopped thinking the problems way to much because when i used to think about them they would just make my whole mood and day bad or even some times whole week. Now all the people around me are just curious how am i so chill even in the worst situation possible.
