This is what people asked for. I swear I do not understand the anger. People only wanted to pay for what watched. Now we can. And it's vastly cheaper then cable was. You don't have to watch everything all the time. I cycle subs. I have subs I will always have and a few that cycle. Add in all the free apps with commercials there is just way to much to even begin to complain. If something I want to watch is on an app I don't have chances are it will cycle through the one of the ones I do, I can purchase it, or I'll just add that app to the rotation and cycle through it. And with apps it's so much better. I can try a few versions of an app for a relatively low bar of entry. Many Apps have a lifetime sub option, or if it's something I only need to use a few times have 5 bucks I'll take care of what I need to this month.

I don’t think there is a single time in the last 50 years where this high of a percentage of devices use the same power/data cord. So many things are USB-C now. Almost everyone uses the same phone charger, regardless of iPhone/android. All I gotta do is bring one cord and wall block with me on a trip, and it can charge my phone, my headphones, my handheld gaming device, my kindle, my vape (before I quit 🎉), my laptop, my Bluetooth speaker, and my battery bank for all of these devices. I think that’s pretty awesome

Lack of social cohesion (i think that's the right term). It seems like society (at least in the west) is just becoming more and more fractured and antagonistic. And forget the political left vs right stuff (which also feeds into this) but just the fact that its socially acceptable to hate the country you live in is wild. The countries that give us the rights and quality of life etc that allow us to protest and "hate" the country etc. I dont necessarily think nationalism in itself is a good thing, but I think having "being an American" or "being a canadian" as an underlying common identifier/unifier is extremely undervalued and kinda dangerous. We can all have differing and conflicting opinions on almost anything but if we cant find any unity with our fellow citizens then arent we just stuck in a cycle of conflict amongst ourselves?

Some people are afraid to set boundaries, and end up making themselves uncomfortable trying to make others happy. Or, on the other extreme, there are plenty of people who are perfectly willing to manipulate others to get what they want. And then there's sexual desire vs romantic affection vs friendship affection, and let me tell you fam those lines are BLURRY AF when you get right down to it. Safe sex may be easier than ever but, and I cannot stress this enough, *they don't make condoms for the heart* TL;DR kind of like having kids, too many dumb straight people think it'll "fix" their marriage and end up instead traumatizing each other plus whomever they rope into it
