What’s something people brag about that isn’t actually impressive?

Bragging about how little sleep they get, Bruh being exhausted isn't a flex

If I tell you I didn’t get any sleep, I’m not bragging and it wasn’t by choice. I’m trying to tell you that I was up with my kid all night and I have no energy for your bull shit.

Especially health care workers, i do not trust someone who is lacking in sleep.

Bragging about working weekends, not taking vacations, or being overly busy to show how productive they are

How many people they have dated or hooked up with. It says nothing about character

D*** or b*** size. You were born with it, you put zero work into it - why would you be proud of that?

I paid good money for the size of my d***.

How busy they are. No, you just don't know how to prioritize or delegate.

Flexing that you can survive on $5 a day like it’s a skill instead of just… being broke.

Their age. Just because you’re older doesn’t mean you know better.

pattiemayonaze Apr 3, 2026 +2
Some times it does.

There’s so many factors that go into knowing things and age.
1
Kinglycole Apr 3, 2026 +1
That’s experience. A completely different factor. You can be younger and have more experience and vice versa.

secretsodapop Apr 3, 2026 +1
Never does. Experience and being well informed are correlated with age at times though.

How many followers they have. How much money they have. How many countries they've been to when they're still a minor (meaning that they act like they paid for it, not their parents).

height... I am 6'9 and frankly it sucks. the world isn't designed for taller than average people

Ugh that does suck! My son is 6’4 and there are actual cars he can’t sit in because it’s so uncomfortable. This was genuinely not a thing I had ever thought about before. His sisters car is a civic coupe and he absolutely cannot sit upright in the back and when he sits in the front, he has to lay the seat all the way down. And finding SHOES that fit his boat size 15 feet…they’re like flippers! And you are FIVE inches taller than even that!

yeah there are so many things, I can't fly in economy unless I am in the bulk head seat, and even then anything more than a couple of hours is hard. size 18 shoe so shoes I like are rarely if ever available... nothing from the rack clothes wise fits well showers in almost every hotel and bathroom of every house is at neck level, beds... another huge issue, then there is the stares off people, it is impossible to just blend into the crowd when you are almost a foot taller than the average person.

there are others things like basic kitchen counters back issues pain from posture issues to adjust with normal height stuff oh and not so much a thing now as I sit , but back in the day you'd go to a concert and inadvertently block the few for people behind you and get comments...

I don't know if it's something more than one person does but I worked with a guy that bragged about hitting a woman with his car like it was an achivement.
