What’s something you did with zero confidence that somehow worked?

Went into something thinking “there’s no way this works”… did it anyway… and somehow it just clicked. Half the time confidence isn’t what makes it work, it’s just showing up when you feel like you’re not ready.

I acted super confident with my previous girlfriend. It was all fake tho, I’m not confident. She obviously found this out later lol

took the risk on a random opportunity. I didn't feel ready at all but it worked out

I was failing a class and had seen all the cheesy p*** tropes, well i “accidentally” texted my teacher a pic of my t***. The next day in class i told him he can see them forreal if he gives me an A, he locked the door and played with my t*** while pumping his c***

One thing that comes to mind is trying to cook a Fijian-style lovo.

Get a job. I got a ups job and off of that job I was able to land a comfy job where I do nothing and even earn more than my mom who definitely works a lot more than I do at her employment.

When i went to busy seminars/workshops/etc. and the leader wanted everyone to introduce themselves and give out a bit of personal info my arm shot up first even tho any kind of public speaking is not my thing. I’d rather get it over with and listen to the next 75, 100+ people knowing I’m done😂

Public Speaking. I was shaking like a leaf but I just leaned into the fake it till you make it strategy and everyone thought I was a pro.

It was during my university days, specifically the Advanced Mathematics exams. The day before the Probability Theory test, I was still asking the professor what the symbols in the basic formulas stood for; he scolded me, asking, "You still haven't grasped even this? You're going to fail." Yet, when the exam took place the very next day, I passed—and even earned an A.

Another time, my driving instructor told me that since I had only been practicing for such a short while, I was bound to fail the exam; however, the very next day, I passed with flying colors.

I'm one of those last-minute miracle workers, which is great in some ways, but it also means I really struggle with procrastination.🤔

Fixed my girlfriend's mother's mobility scooter. New brushes for the electric motor, new fuses just replaced them all, and a couple of the wire clips needed pushing back in and it was as good as new. I was well happy with myself and went on an hour's joy ride just to test it 😂 However, she now thinks I'm an expert and she brings it to me for everything now (and her friends scooters). Me and YouTube are doing pretty well keeping her zooming around town.

My lawnmower stop working completely, dont know why I thought i could fix it, but i tried. I took the carburettor to pieces, cleaned it all with water (I know) then dried it with one of those tiktok air blower things and the put it all back together (that took way longer than expected and was fiddly asf), to my surprise the damn thing worked. My lawnmower has now been working for the last 2 seasons without issues, it started first time last week when we got the nice weather too.
