Call your grandparents and your parents more often than you do now. Therell be a day you cant. Itll be here sooner than you think

Make mistakes being bold while you're young. For instance, you can go to Hollywood, wait tables and try to make it as an actor when you're 22. You probably won't be able to do this when you're 42. Sometimes the bold failures of your youth can prove more valuable than safe successes later in life.

Choose friends wisely.

every year is shorter than the previous. suddenly you are 40 and still feel 18.

Start saving for retirement.

Frankly, delete your listnook account and never come back. In recent years, this site has become a goalpost-shifting, holier-than-thou shamefest of random bots and nobodies who all think they know better than you. Delete your listnook account, and basically all social media for that matter, and watch your mental health improve overnight.

I hope you know a good trade, life is tough without a good job. Don't marry to young and don't have babies yet, that would ruin your life at this age.

Don’t do drugs and don’t only hang out with people who do, I got caught up in some bad habits that I still struggle with because of some very good friends who happened to also smoke a bunch. Also, utilise the circumstances you find yourself in to meet anyone and everyone, and use THAT opportunity to spread kindness

Start a Roth IRA. Realize that although you're legally an adult, you're still just a teenager. If you're going to call yourself an adult, understand you're a baby adult.

Money won't make you happy but it does solve problems. Learn to trade equities (just slow swing trading because you have decades so no WSB) Start businesses and if you want to sell them. I push this on my son and believe it to be good advice. The best investment you will ever make is in yourself.

Life isn’t fair and get over it. There will always be someone who had a better chance or knew someone who gave them help or whatever it may be. Life is peaks and valleys and neither last forever. Be happy for what you have there are a lot of people who have it better than you and a lot that are worse off then you.

Travel. If youre single, go backpacking across the US or Canada.
