Mine was (and the pay was ridiculous!), but eventually there was no figure they could put on the stress.

I am a home health aide, my mom is my only client. Having said that I did not see or speak to my mom for 35 years. And I'm not going into specifics.
The best thing about my job, is that I get to be with my mom everyday. I love her and the best thing is being able to talk to her everyday, and see her everyday.

Thank you so much for saying that. There are some days that I just want to stay at my house and I still get up and go because I know one day, ( I pray that one day as many years into the future) I am not going to be able to be around her at all and that's why I get up and go even when I want to stay home. I missed so much time with her just because of family drama. And of course me living 4000 miles away LOL

I get to largely do my own thing, the way I want to do it.
Sure, there is some schedule structure and some lines to color within. But I left the corporate world to pursue my passion as a full-time career, so even when I'm doing something less-pleasant, I'm still doing it in service to something I really believe in and get fired up to do.

I work from home. #2 everyone I work with is an intelligent and educated person.
This is the only job I can say that about. At my last job, most were intelligent and educated, but those few that weren't really fucked things up.

Job: Uber Eats Driver
Best: I choose when I work and can stop working any time I want. I do not have to deal with "coworkers" talking smack about life, their relationships, or sports.
Worst: The broken app that has had the same glitches and flaws for over 3 years, but tech support refuses to address those problems after 500 updates in those 3 years.
\--------------------
Previous Job: Catering Operations Supervisor
Best: Ability to wake up, spend all day organizing and coordinating events for thousands of businesses and customers - all while sitting at home in my underwear (tmi, I know)... Then going out (fully clothed after a shave, shower, and meal) and completing all those events. I was recognized every year as the top leader in sales growth... until COVID killed all "group events" and ended my job full stop.
Worst: Sitting in negotiation meetings with business owners (who had to feed 500-5,000 employees per shift) and wondering how the f\*k they manage to get away with feeding everyone for $1 per employee, when a full plate of quality food has a base production and inventory total cost of $5-$7 per plate.
