What's the best way to respond to a combative, mean, dismissive, and insulting coworker?

mAYBE a sternly-worded memo., considering a preliminary scheduling concept meeting of 'all-hands' regarding a 'co-worker' who may actually be antagonistic and counter-productive. Lately I was reading about a 'push notification'.

Tell them to f*** off and keep going with a smile on your face that pisses them off the most.

Kick their ass the first day so they know who they're f****** with, then make them pick you up for work for a few weeks and buy you lunch so you can get to know each other.

Openly hostile and condescending in a way that they want everyone to know they hate you, but not in a way that would sound bad in a letter to HR. Total a******, but not dumb.

Avoid them, if you can and gray rock them. Just keep an eye out for them starting a mob.
