I was once paid $500 to go into a guy’s house and plant 'conspicuous' evidence of a fake addiction (nothing illegal, just like 200 empty cans of a specific energy drink and 'research papers' on them) so his girlfriend would think he was weird and break up with him. I got in, realized he actually had a *real* secret (he was hoarding vintage rare Pokémon cards worth way more than the job), and I just left. Best $500 I ever gave back.
