I think there's one thing fits perfectly: We think we're recalling the past, but in reality, every time we remember something, we're rewriting that memory. For instance,we alter a little detail each time we think about it and add some emotion, and over time,it turns into a beautified rationalized ,and entirely fictional story of our own making

Accidentally opened a hidden folder on an old laptop… found stuff I really wish I hadn’t.

This isn't meta or TikTok. You can write the whole word.

This isn't a NSFW sub either, so I played it safe. But guess you're right. Although I don't use twitter, tiktok or Facebook.

Idk if I can type it here. In a sauna, in the YMCA, there was a guy who had been stalking my friend and I in there naked, which was normal at the time. There were other young ppl in there. I look over to my left and saw this POS touching himself. I looked at my friend, and he had noticed at the exact same time. We ran out of the sauna. Does that count as "accidentally discovered"?

Super creepy. I can still remember everything about that encounter. He was following us from the pool to the hot-tub, back and forth. I wish we had said something. We just ran out.

You should be more careful and aware if maybe you could have approached the guy and he had seen how keen you were that might have scared him.

I think you may mean to use a different word from "keen". We were not keen; we were keen to get the f*** away from him! Nothing happened to us, and we were actively avoiding him. Again, I think what we should have done differently was tell someone.

Found my dads secret second family photo album while looking for Christmas decorations. Same years I was growing up. Never told a soul.

My parents were freaky … found a whole big ass box full of k**** shit. Mind you I grew up in a very religious household. I had to be like 13 maybe 14 when I discovered this and It was pure disgust and shock

The only time any restaurant follows proper food safety rules is when they are given a 24-48 hour notice of inspection. Otherwise, rules become lax, employees cut corners or just swap expiration labels. Some of the stuff people are served is much, much older and dangerous to consume than they think. This is the norm. Only very few restaurants and employees take the time to ensure safe food storage.
