What’s the most expensive relationship you’ve been in?

The one with my psychiatrist 

The one that cost me my peace, my time, and a version of myself I can’t get back.

gotta be that one where i spent way too much on fancy dates just to impress someone who ghosted me after a month. major L.

The last one, with a covert narcissist. I lost a lot of money, but that's not the main issue, health is worse. I am just glad I survived the whole thing, my life was in danger several times and I only found out later that it wasn't just bad luck, but more situations my ex deliberately created for her entertainment.

My last one

My ex from high school stole my money to buy coke. An addiction he was trying to hide from me. Took months after the break up to get paid back. He didn't want to stop talking to me so he wouldn't pay me in full until finally I went to his job and demanded the last bit.

My divorce. It cost me $200k, the house, and 50% of my retirement. People ask if I'm bitter. I tell them it was a bargain. I basically paid a premium to have my peace of mind back and stop walking on eggshells in my own home. Best money I ever "lost."

My 4 personality with names ex covert narc. My heart just didn't know someone could be such an evil thing. Paid everything for it, all my money, my health. My mental. Nearly died a few times. But for some reason I wanna say worth the price, after the discard when I had nothing more to leech and high efforting picking up the pieces. I've never been clearer on who I am and stronger than this very moment. Grateful for the abuse!
