The mother of my kids accused me of beating them. I was forced out of the home we jointly owned because I was the unsafe man. Turned out she was using meth. I have my children full time and she has to ask to see them. It took 4 years to properly resolve. I still have people who were very close friends once look at me with distaste because they took the "mother's side".

Don't be. It put me on the path to meeting my now wife, who is just incredible. Yes, we are a big blended family, they live here full time. My eldest bio daughter is 15 and hasn't seen or spoken to her mum for the last three years, she wants absolutely nothing to do with her. Where I'm from she is of age to make that choice herself.
