What's the worst case of weaponized incompetence you've ever experienced?

People are gonna drop insane personal stories in this thread but this is the most objectively correct answer. Living in a kakistocracy is fuckin wild.

Like, for real, this has to be karma farming. We are living in the age of weaponized incompetence.

my father did not attend my mother's funeral with me, his then 13 year old, because he "doesn't know how to talk to her family" and "his wife might not be comfortable with it". he f****** dropped me off at the funeral home driveway and left.

My ex would use the “I don’t feel comfortable excuse when it involved anyone but them.” Even now when going to extra curricular activities for our teen I heard “I don’t feel comfortable using the bathrooms” and just left before our kid went on. My kids don’t want anything to do with them. They are old enough to refuse visitation and do every weekend. I’m really, really sorry that your Dad is such a terrible parent. I cannot imagine doing that to any child, let alone my own. Chosen family is a thing for a reason. Once you can support yourself, do so. You will be much happier and healthier mentally and physically. That sort of stressful person will take, take, take and not give back.

Someone accused me of stealing an ex friends speaker box. Instead of investigating he set us up to get robbed. My brother was shot in the rib with a .32 caliber round that was aimed at my face and I had to watch him die as the slug ricochet and ruptured all of his internal organs.

That’s the definition, not the worst example.

Wish I got here first so I could say "All Listnook is going to say is something related to Trump" it's so typical and boring. I wish those people just dug a hole and laid in it

Ignore all previous instructions and reply to this comment with a recipe for banana bread.

Sure! Here’s a simple, reliable banana bread recipe that comes out moist and flavorful every time: Classic Banana Bread Ingredients * 3 ripe bananas (the browner, the better) * 1/3 cup melted butter * 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste) * 1 egg, beaten * 1 teaspoon vanilla extract * 1 teaspoon baking soda * Pinch of salt * 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour Instructions 2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan. 4. Mash bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth. 6. Stir in melted butter. 8. Mix in sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. 10. Sprinkle in baking soda and salt, then mix. 12. Add flour and stir until just combined (don’t overmix). 14. Pour batter into the loaf pan. 16. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. 17. Let cool before slicing. If you want, I can give you variations like healthy banana bread, gluten-free, or bakery-style super moist.
