Black holes were my favourite for the longest time. I just think they're neat as hell and utterly fascinating. Especially quasars.
Then I learned about neutron stars and was like, woah new contender. Then found out about pulsars specifically and they've now won my heart.
They're literally like a lighthouse in space and that's cool as heck. I recommend looking up how they sound too.
Also with more recent photos of the Crab Nebula, you can now see the pulsar in the middle too.
anyway heres a gif because i think they're neat

galaxy filaments - it is just so weird that the universe pulls the galaxies into narrow bands between voids

That spins me out ay but it makes sense! Of course gravity is going to pull objects closer together and therefore leave gaps but my brain struggles to comprehend it.

At the moment, probably the Voyager probes.
A couple things we built decades ago have officially left our solar system. And they're still working and sending data back.
The universe is *neat*.

I love that we can get data from probes in literal *interstellar* space but I can't get phone reception (sevice) 1k (less than a mile) out of town.
