When you were a kid, what did you want to become?

I wanted to be a jedi. Then as I got a bit older I wanted to be a p**** magnet Safe to say neither have been close to becoming a reality and I now work in engineering

A computer programmer. I got into it around age 11, and by 16 I was pretty good, but it kind of lost its magic. It's like knowing how a magic trick works. Never found anything else to dream about.

A good human. The opposite of what I’ve become

An Archeologist, though at the time I didn't know the difference between Archeology and Paleontology

Farmer. Used to help at my uncle's farm when growing up. Got to hang with the cousins and worked on chores. Now? Live dab smack in the middle of farming country, but never became a farmer.

I was such a daddy’s girl and wanted to be a meteorologist to impress him- but genuinely I did find it interesting when I was younger. Still do but didn’t think I was smart enough and wanted to go into something where money could be made. Got my associates in Forensic Science and now I’m a dispatcher. I don’t know how I ended up here but I did.

A want to grow up so i can buy liquor in the store

Car salesman because my world view was super small and I thought I'd get to keep all the money for myself. I didn't think about having to buy the cars. I thought I'd just open a shop and people would give me their cars for free.

A Vet or a Dr. couldn’t do it as I have a learning disability with math. Funny, as I did become a telecom engineer and software tester.

A veterinarian. Became a psychologist. Considering how many vets I see for depression and anxiety, I think I made the right choice.

A palaeontologist. It didn’t happen.

I wanted to be an **Astronaut**, but then I realized you need a PhD in Physics and the lung capacity of a whale. Now I just use my 'Space Knowledge' to calculate how far I can drive on a 'Low Fuel' light before my bank account hits zero.

I wanted to be a math teacher.

Heaven knows - I was just a young boy, didn't know what I wanted to be. Seriously though, at age 7 I always wanted to grow up to be a software developer and have a great sense of humour. It’s clear to me now only half of that came true.
