I was going to say from their handlers, but yeah. Your answer is more succinct.

My guess would be Fox News.

I promote slapping the word "'Entertainment" at the end of that. It distinguishes them from actually being in news to being a news entertainment channel, decided in a court of law.  The Legal Defense For Fox's Tucker Carlson: He Can't Be Literally Believed : NPR https://share.google/calnp7dS8bw4LkEjP Much like how there's Greco-Roman  wrestling and  then there's WWE. >Scalia explained. “It was slanted and often nasty. And, you know, why should I get upset every morning? I don’t think I’m the only one. I think they lost subscriptions partly because they became so shrilly, shrilly liberal.” So, everything that isn't a fascist dictatorship makes them feel uneasy? So, they're totally manipulated by political propaganda? The concept of the people of America voting to make decisions for the country is "too far?" So, their version of politics has absolutely nothing to do with reality. Okay. That makes sense. Do people understand what's going wrong with the court now? The people on the court who support dictators think that voters having the liberty to choose their own destiny is "bad." Both conservatism and liberalism serve needed functions in government. Those judges are nothing more than purely partisan political hacks... They're just trying to "turn the system sideways so that people fight each other instead of the system operating correctly to produce the best decisions for the country." There are multiple extremely biased right wing judges on SCOTUS that have no honest path forwards besides resignation.

Where I live if you're a judge and your political preference (not even affiliation) becomes publicly known, the rest of the judiciary mean-mugs you and expects you to abdicate. I know it's not a perfect system but seeing you guys with judges that are part (and act in the furtherance) of specific political parties is fing WILD to me

In reality, that is conceptually absurd. The judge is suppose to administrate the law, not their political party's agenda. As long as they do their job correctly, there is no issue. But, people have been so ultra badly manipulated with propaganda in this country to point where, members of certain political parties, have no idea how the government even works.

What is? Conceptually, judges must meet two core criteria: independence and impartiality. The idea is that their independence would be at risk if political parties (or even voters) would have the power to appoint or fire them (same reason why they're appointed for life). And that their impartiality would be at risk if their political preferences became public knowledge, because it would allow people to 'forum-shop' and/or approach proceedings with tactics that take into account that political preference. The real weak point (which my country is regularly criticized for) is that our judicial branch has become sort of self-regulating, with the other branches having relatively few ways to apply checks and balances.

>“It was slanted and often nasty. And, you know, why should I get upset every morning? I don’t think I’m the only one." Assuming this guy watches Fox News and has this to say about the "leftist" media??? Within 5 minutes of switching to Fox News during the Obama administration they'd be bashing him and Democrats. It never stopped. It's 24/7 bashing liberals and Democrats, LGBT people, people of color, immigrants, you name it! A short 10 minute segment on somebody petting puppies then back to the bashing for another 4 straight hours!

Exactly, Fox News is non stop, racist, political propaganda that has nothing to do with the way politics actually operates in the United States of America. They've been doing that strategy of "turning politics sideways to force everybody in the country to fight each other" for decades. Tucker Carlson even admitted it at one point. It's a totally unethical and purely evil propaganda strategy that is used by right wing media organizations like Fox news. They manipulate people by teaching them a version of politics that is not real... They think that choosing between voting and dictatorship is based upon your skin color something... Fox News has become nothing more than tin foil conspiracy theories about politics and other political lunacy that has absolutely nothing to do with reality...

With Sean Hannity having a direct line to Trump it's more like state media at this point. Except Fox News is the one directing the President!

if you have ever met someone of that level of wealth and power, NONE of them live in reality, they live in a world where they face 0 inconvenience and constant instant gratification, even stubbing their toes would ruin their year.

Actual__Wizard Mar 25, 2026 +5
>NONE of them live in reality Yes, I'm aware that they live in a fantasy land where "there's nothing wrong with having an evil and cruel dictator step all over free people who did nothing to deserve it." I am 100% totally aware.

They just do what propels the country towards a dictatorship as fast as possible, facts be damned. Like the recent case that was a clear violation of the First Amendment (freedom of the press), which I hear they call "the First Roadblock."

At least five, and possibly six justices extract their legal opinions *ex anibus*. \[edit: I just heard that someone googled "ex anibus" and the ai "assistant" claimed that it is an ancient Roman saying meaning out of the dog, because Anubis is the Egyptian dog god. AI is often wrong, but always arrogantly certain. Anibus is the ablative case of a***, because the preposition 'ex' (out of) takes the ablative case, not the dative case. My high school Latin teacher marked me down for using the dative case (in a more polite phrase) seventy years ago, and the memory still burns.\]
