Which film or story made you realize that you don't have to wait to follow your dreams?

Posted by DarkBerryTheMovie

I saw a short film not too long ago that looked at how complicated life can be and how following your dreams isn't always a straight line. The story showed how our ideas of success often depend on the "perfect moment," but in reality, things are much messier. This made me think about how we often wait for everything to be perfect before we follow our passions, when in reality, the path is full of mistakes and failures. I'm interested to know if any movies or stories have changed the way you think about going after your dreams or passions. How do they deal with the idea of waiting for the "right time" versus doing something when you don't know what's going to happen? I'd like to hear what you think about movies that deal with this topic and how they affected you personally.

That film really makes you think about how important it is to get out of your comfort zone. It seems easy at first, but the more you think about it, the more it hits home. Did it change how you do things in your own life?

It’s way more contextual than what you’re talking about, but Robert Rodriguez’s El Mariachi and his making of book Rebel without a Crew can be super encouraging to just pick up a camera and start creating…something.

That's a good example. It really shows how much you can do by just doing something. Do you think it's harder to use that mindset now?
