The jump scare in Pee Wee's Big Adventure scared a bunch of kids. Large Marge.

The car scene in The Haunting of Hill House. I was completely relaxed during the conversation and then that jump scare came out of nowhere. Nearly threw my phone across the room.

It didn’t get me (I play a lot of scary games) but the wife screamed louder than I’ve ever heard. That traumatised me.

Beginning of The Grudge when she's looking in the attic. That scene damn near scarred 14 year old me for weeks. I would intentionally go to bed early while my parents were still awake.

It's not a scary scene, but the box scene from the movie Seven really affected me. I recommend you watch it if you haven't already.

Red dude popping up in Insidious. My dad recommended the film and I was 6 months pregnant. I saw that and omg, it scared me so much I became hysterical. I called my dad and went *off* 😂😂
