On the positive side, if the mortality of 40% is confirmed and this virus keep spreading, we will have solved climate change

Covid-19 had a serious impact on CO2 emissions. It's sad if we need things like this to reduce GHG emissions quickly enough.

I remember seeing that global air pollution map and how drastic the change was during Covid when the air was cleaner due to all the lockdowns.

Are you serious, bro? What will you do if you were not there, or your whole generation will get wiped out, then what will you do of climat change.

Bill Gates said that time corona virus was made by them, and another coronavirus will come by 2027, but it seems like it is not the coronavirus but Hantavirus.

Quick & high mortality is detrimental to spread, so not necessarily bad news

> Quick mortality
Afaik it can kill after 40 days so I wouldn't call that "quick". If the virus can be transmitted in this interval before symptoms, it's way enough to spread very quickly. Now it clearly doesn't appear to be the case here, but I guess everyone is rightfully cautious. We'll know only in 30~40 days if the virus had the potential to spread quickly.
