I was walking through Belfast one grim February morning on my way to work about 10 years ago. I'm a straight man, but I noticed this man in the crowd of commuters that stood out a mile with Hollywood good looks. I thought I recognised him and it was annoying me all morning. Then I realised, it was none other than Jamie Lannister. Game of thrones was being shot here at the time.

I was in Havana, Cuba 2013. Went for lunch in one of those family run restaurants the government let people set up to help with the economy. The daughter of the family was serving. She was around her early twenties. (I was in my mid twenties.) I have never seen such beauty before or since seeing her. She literally took my breathe away. I was trying not to make it too obvious looking at her, so I didn't look like a creep. She still pops up in my thoughts now and again.

My friend from school who would make people stop in their tracks since we were teenagers. Barely wears make up. She was walking down the street and ended up in a music video. Never had social media. She’ll be 40 next year and still stuns a room. She studied medicine and then dentistry, owns two dental practices and operates on cleft lips pro bono. So as well as being stunning, she’s a genius. Would be jealous if she wasn’t so nice. Edit: So this comment has blown up and I’ve had a few messages asking to provide photos/more personal recognisable info which I’m not going to do. I will say that she’s married to a nice, steady, down-to-earth guy and has two young kids. I’m giving that info because I’ve had DMs from people asking for her contact details because they think they’re destined to be with her and I want that to stop. I forgot how creepy listnook can be. Also we’re not in Canada or the US.

I once saw a girl at a crosswalk that was so beautiful it made me smile at her and she smiled back. She did a double-take and looked back at me as we crossed, probably expecting me to talk to her. But I was so struck by her that I didn't say anything. Missed opportunity -- I still think about that.

I live in California. I've seen so many insanely attractive people just walking down the street, it's impossible to single one out.

I worked on a ferry years ago, and we had a child's entertainer on board, she was always made up as a clown, full getup. Anyway we got chatting over the summer and I only ever saw her in her costume during the day. Then one evening I was helping out in a different section of the ferry and it was a bit quiet. This absolutely stunning woman walks up to me and starts talking like it was just another Tuesday, I just went along with it having no idea who she was, she looked like Sophia loren... that beautiful. Anyway we finished our conversation and said goodnight, and one of my crewmates said I was "in" there! And how long had i known the "clown" to be that casual with her! I could not believe that it was the same person! But she was probably the most "movie star" looking person i have seen. Sophie Howard isn't bad either up close!

My wife. I remember sitting in a friends backyard we were all talking and this beauty walks in to the living room. We all stop talking and I ask who it was and i couldnt take my eyes off her. Needless to say I throughly impressed her with a mating dance later that evening pretending to be a sting ray with a blanket over me.

I have no idea what her name was. My ex really really wanted to see Hamilton, she had recently moved away from Hollywood so we saw it at the Pantages in Hollywood with her sister and her sister's boyfriend. In the lobby before the show a young woman, probably early 20s, walked past us. She was black, had long curly hair, and was wearing a simple green dress, no over the top makeup (if she was even wearing makeup), a small handbag, unremarkable shoes We all stopped talking for a second after seeing her. She had that effect as she walked through the crowd. In that moment I understood why ancient civilizations elevated certain individuals to sovereignty, based on the belief that they were divine in origin. The way Pharaohs insisted on being perceived. Nothing about her necessarily stood out, except that she was absolutely flawlessly beautiful.

Winter 1997 - Reykjavik, Iceland I remember it was winter because the sun never came up while we were there. My brother and I walked into a Subway sandwich shop to get lunch. Kid behind the counter is helping someone ahead of us and tells us another worker will be right out. He yelled, and a couple seconds later she came out. Oh. Em. Gee. Girl walks out, six feet tall, long dark hair, pale skin, no makeup, absolutely perfect features. Asks us what we want. We are literally speechless because this girl - no more than sixteen years old - is STUNNING. *STUNNING*. She is wearing a Subway shirt and a Subway hat, and looks like she's walking a runway during Fashion Week. She asked me again what I wanted, and I was able to tell her. When she asked my brother, he couldnt talk. She told him - I'm going to go through our selection and you nod when I reach what you want. She lists a bunch of meats and when she gets to 'turkey', he nods. Then she pointed at the toppings - lettuce, tomato, etc., and it was the same drill. He'd shake his head or nod. If he noded, she'd add it to the sandwich. The weird thing about this? *She was completely used to men being speechless.* It apparently was an everyday thing for her. The guy after us? Same thing. He could barely look at her. She went through the whole thing, and he'd either shake his head or nod. Afer she was done helping that guy I asked her - why aren't you on the cover of every fashion magazine in the world?? She blushed. She was very modest. She was aware she was good looking, but it hadnt gone to her head. Turned out she was sixteen. Her dad was Icelandic and her mom was South African. She spoke Icelandic, English, i think Dutch, and a little Swahili, she said. That was roughly thirty years ago, and she is still the most attractive person I have ever seen.

The most amazing woman I've ever seen *anywhere*. No movie star, model, or anyone I have ever seen, past, present, or now, into the future, could compare. A person not just out of my league, but out of the universe of a trillion stars, there could be no thing or no one more perfect. It sounds cliché, but I could not breathe. Every emotion in human existence hit me all at once. Time ceased to exist. She sat down a few rows back, and I didn't know what to do. I knew she was so perfect that she had to be taken. She was so far out of my league that I would just be thrilled to have her make eye contact. I had no idea what to do, but I knew I had to do something. Somehow, out of character, I got up, walked over, said something to the line of "I have never seen anyone like you, could I sit here to learn more about you... what you like... who you are. I'm not trying hit on you, I've just never seen anyone so perfect.... " Somehow, she agreed to let this crazy person sit next to her. Then she allowed me to set a time to reconnect. and then again, and then again. I woke up next to her this morning, just as I have for the last 32 years.

My fiancée. She is the person I have dreamed of my entire life. I could literally stare at her forever. It’s unbelievable.

In college there was this one woman who was an absolute knockout. I literally struggled to form words around her. One day, I passed her at work and said hello, and she gave me a weird reaction. Turns out it wasn’t her. Her *identical twin sister* was visiting. So, I’ve seen the most attractive woman twice.

A random woman on the bus over half a decade ago. Literally everything about her from appearance to the way she carried herself was *exactly* my type. I don’t think I remember any other specific person I’ve seen in public transport in all my years of school and uni (outside of the ones I interacted with in some way), but I remember her. It was also the only time I can think of when I had to force myself not to stare at someone.

I met Carmen Electra briefly in the mid-late 90’s when I was a teenager. She was tiny and somehow even hotter in person.

I still remember this girl. I was on a family trip in Miami, on a tourist bus, and a girl walked out of Starbucks. Absolute goddess. This was 10+ years ago. Probably closer to 12/13. She was it.

I was in The Dalles, Oregon, traveling through. I was walking back to my car from a nice little dive bar. I turned a corner and a group of about 5 people were walking along the main drag. College aged people. One of them was a thin, long legged, athletic looking black woman with a small, perfect fro. She was wearing a leather jacket, I think it was either yellow or light tan, one of those short ones that let you see a woman's hips. Her earrings were really beautiful. Like, really matched her cheekbones and facial structure. It wasn't just her aesthetic looks, or her clothing, all those things were really wonderful. I think anyone would agree, looking at her, that she's beautiful. But it was just something about her! Her charisma, her energy, the way that she strolled down the road. It was exuding confidence and energy. This was about 6 years ago now, and I still think about her sometimes. I don't like bugging women, I know that they get harassed all the time, coerced, and just bothered. So I didn't say anything, didn't try to approach her, but if any organic circumstance had allowed me to speak to her, I would have loved to let her know how striking and gorgeous she was.

2 people came to mind. First was a young female train conductor. I don’t even remember her face, but I remember being very shocked when I looked up to give her my ticket. She had long hair, nearly tailored uniform, her hat was perfectly situated on her head, a delicate but stern voice, and moved up and down the aisles without glancing up at anyone. I’ve only seen male conductors up to that point, so I was very caught off guard. Second was a young lady in the subway. She sat with perfect posture, a bag on her lap and a book in her hands, she didn’t look up at all. She stood out because she was reading a book while everyone else was on their phones (myself included), she was focused and quiet while everyone else was loud and rowdy, and she was pristine in contrast to the dirty, smelly subway car, and she wore white everyone we all wore dark. She stood out right away in a sea of mundane and dirt. But yeah, I didn’t talk to any of these women because I had no business interrupting their routines. Just admired for a few quick glances from afar before I got out at my stop.

My girlfriend's photo when she was a bridesmaid for her friend. Her hair was done perfectly with little curls/swirls coming down to frame her face and she was in a forest green gown. We're long distance, so it's hard to feel connected sometimes. But when she sent me the wedding album and I saw that picture of her, I instantly made it my wallpaper and have shown it to everyone ever since saying how lucky I was. 💚

Waitress in Cactus Club when visiting Vancouver, she was dressed like your typical waitress in a chain restaurant but everything about her face was natural beauty, I genuinely couldn't even tell you if she was underweight, overweight, obese or whatever as she was facially she was stunning. To this day she is the only person I've ever been speachless to talk to, my colleague who was with me realised after a second or so that I was dumbstruck so he begun asking her questions about the menu despite having no interest in the answers and he completely saved me from looking like a complete idiot.

French woman who dropped a giant cup of soda that landed top down. The straw pushed out the bottom of the cup, and yet this thing held liquid and didn't spill everywhere. We were shocked, laughed, then she took her cup and left with her mother to the other side of the airport.

One day this woman, mid-twenties, came up and bought a chai while I was cleaning up the booth, and I didn’t really look at her till I turned around to hand off the chai. She was the most beautifully proportioned woman I’ve ever seen. Tall, thin, but not lanky. Swarthy, dark skin and hair, I had no idea what her background could have been. It literally gobsmacked me, and I froze. She handed me a metallic gold Amex, and that was the first time I’d held one. Was totally speechless. She walked away and I never saw her again. Second place was my high school valedictorian, but she was a promiscuous c*** who cheated on every boyfriend she ever had, ended up marrying a dufus, divorcing him, and marrying a doctor thirty years older than her (obv for money).

A building company director I worked for once married a model. Forgotten her name, but met her at a Christmas party they put on one year. Absolutely breathtaking to the point that my most degenerate worker was stuck staring at her. He then told me, "she's that hot I don't think I could f*** her. If I ever got her home I'd just put her on the mantle piece and look at her". It was around this time that Jim Courier got in trouble for being a creep when he saw her in the crowd at the Australian open sitting with Bec Hewitt.

Randomly stumbled across a model in front of B&H in the middle of a shoot that wasn’t immediately obvious. But she was clearly captivating in a way I’ve never seen in person before. Just stood right out. Not dressed wild. Just leather jacket and jeans but it was like a head turning involuntary moment. But the correct answer is. My wife.

She's still amazing, but after a divorce and a few bad relationships, I'm jaded now. I screwed it all up.

Honestly, it wasn’t even about looks. It was someone who carried themselves with so much confidence and warmth that you couldn’t not notice them. Made me realize attractiveness hits way different in real life than it does online.
