They will ban for pretty much anything, mentioned that there were plans around summary execution and I got banned for 6 days for "Encouraging Violence".
Repeating what they are doing is being labeled as an "Issue for Advertising" so we get the stick. ID verification is heading for reddit soon, so much easier to quiet the voices while claiming they are cleaning up bots. Those bots do exist but given Reddits CEO......yeah I think it's both are their goal. They become more advert friendly and they get to sell cencership to those willing to pay.
The last bastions of personal freedoms will be carved out and sold to feed the investors.
Trump will use a nuke and it's pretty clear others in the admin already had to talk him down already. It's just a matter of time....
Edit: Typo cleanup

I've been getting bans. First time in being on this platform for 10+ years. It's making me uneasy and not want to come on anymore. Half the time there's threads with zero upvotes and I can't help but think I'm engaging with f*cking bots half the time. What if all the humans on here just have mostly tailor made threads of stories with bots that you think are humans from all over but really it's just a scary algorithm to keep everyone thinking a certain way, and believing in free will. That'd be wild. And if it's not already happening, it will.

Right wing individuals have been infiltrating moderation of public squares over the past few years; people take for granted free speech, but right wing thought tanks and oligarchical foundations have not.
Such groups have come to understand from how wildly successful simply buying twitter was that erasing the ability of left wing voices to speak almost nullifies the ability to speak and organize against them outright.
94
chameleon_oliveMar 23, 2026
+20
There has been a gradual but mass right-wing infiltration of basically every sector of media for the last 30 or so years, obviously accelerating in the last 10 or so. Rupert Murdoch and the Sinclair Broadcasting Group own at least 9 of every 10 news sources you have ever heard of or consumed, andt it doesn't stop at legacy news media forms. I'm not saying reddit is some dystopian ultra-censored forum, because it honestly isn't yet. But the way things are going, it very well might be soon.
If you want an explicit example, here's a legitimately scary clip of news stations being given the exact same script to read across the country: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksb3KD6DfSI

When I was a kid everyday on my bus to school I saw a giant spray painted graffiti on a concrete wall that had a mushroom cloud and below it said: NUK IRAN. It was big. Maybe 10’ in diameter. It remained on the wall for many years since I think few in that area disagreed with it.

People whose existence is threatened resist. People who can't afford gas and groceries don't love you.
They are fully convinced they're the elite without realizing this isn't a byproduct of their own intelligence or virtue, it's a hand-me-down and they aren't at all special thinkers. In fact, they're less knowledgeable than the experts who have been plugging away at geopolitics for the last 100 years and though they think they're appointed by some version of evolutionary selection, they're actually idiots.

It's one of the few reasons North Korea hasn't been toppled yet, though Clinton was very nearly convinced to try in 94 (the then-retired Jimmy Carter ended up helping negotiate, interestingly). Allegedly, Kim Jong-Il watched videos of Saddam Hussein ~~Gaddafi~~ being captured repeatedly and concluded the only way to stop that from happening to him was nuclear weapons.

Netanyahu has pursued this since well before the criminal cases against him. This is his wildest dream coming true. And unlike in the US, where at least half the country is against this war, Israelis are almost all for this. The few organizations working against it are marginalized. It’s such a scary thing.

Political system captured entirely by Israel.
There is absolutely zero - none - benefit to Americans to be beefing with Iran, but it is exactly what Netanyahu has been busting at for 40 years.
He isn’t going to send his countrymen of 10m into fight Iran’s 90m; the war with Iran was never going to be Israel vs Iran, he just needed to wait 40 years to find a president stupid enough to fulfil his holy war bullshit.
Americans, what are you getting out of any of this, any of you?

[Trump says Israel won’t use a nuclear weapon in Iran](https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/5786393-israel-iran-nuclear-risk/)
>President Trump insisted on Monday that Israel would not use a nuclear weapon in Iran after he was asked about one his advisers warning of such a potential risk.
>“Israel wouldn’t do that. Israel would never do that,” Trump told reporters in the White House East Room on Monday.
>Trump was asked about recent comments made by his artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency czar David Saks in which he warned of the “risks” in an “escalatory approach” when it comes to the war in Iran.
>“Israel could get seriously destroyed,” Saks told the “All In” podcast. “And then you have to worry about Israel escalating the war by contemplating using a nuclear weapon.”

Excerpt from the book, The Authoritarians, by Bob Altemeyer:
RWA = right wing authoritarians
"*High RWAs tend to feel more endangered in a potentially threatening situation than most people do, and often respond aggressively. In 1987 my colleague Gerry Sande and I had five-man teams of male introductory psychology students role-play NATO in an “international simulation” involving (they thought) another team of students playing as the Warsaw Pact. Some of the NATO teams were composed entirely of low RWA students, and other NATO teams were stocked entirely with highs. (We experimenters secretly played the Warsaw Pact.) The simulation began with a couple of ambiguous moves by the Warsaw Pact, such as holding military exercises earlier than anticipated, and withdrawing divisions to rear areas (possibly for rest, or --as Dr. Strangelove might argue--possibly for redeployment for an attack). The NATO teams could respond with nonthreatening or threatening moves of varying magnitudes. But if they made threats, the Warsaw pact responded with twice as much threat in return, and the NATO team would reap what it had sown as an escalation of aggressive moves would likely result.*
*The low RWA teams did not interpret the ambiguous moves at the beginning of the game as serious threats and thus seldom made threatening moves. The high RWAs on the other hand usually reacted to the opening Warsaw Pact moves aggressively, and sowed a whirlwind. Over the course of the simulation, the high RWA teams made ten times as much threat as the low teams did, and usually brought the world to the brink of nuclear war.* "
Taken from page 26 of the PDF. At this point in time, this is required reading material. These people are so well researched (to understand Nazism after WWII) and very predictable, that is why external forces can easily control what our government does.

That is both concerning and believable. I work with someone that would come under the "high rwa" banner and he heard me muttering annoyance about something I was doing that he was unaware of and he immediately thought I was abusing him and started going on a ranty tirade. He chilled out once I said it wasn't about him at all, but the speed at which he went to being a perceived victim was terrifying.

This is what happens when there are no adults in the room any longer trying to de-escalate the situation with Iran. Just a giant bunch of psychos all dead keen to do whatever Trump commands. And now you’ve got Kegsbreath probably drooling at the possibility of using a nuke.
It’s so fucked a situation, and pig headed Trump won’t take any perceived ‘loss’ of any kind.
Good luck everyone - we’re all going to need it.

Anyone who suggests using nuclear weapons in a conventional war, especially one that has come out of such stupidity and political posturing, should be removed from any position of power immediately. At least in a sane world.
The moment the prohibition on actually using nuclear weapons is broken will start the countdown to our first and final nuclear war.

I remember when Trump said the worst case scenario would be replacing the Ayatollah with a "worse person."
And I thought, *thank God he didn't say dropping nukes.*
Nevermind that the regime did in fact replace the Ayatollah with his more hardline son who we've radicalized all the more by killing his entire family.
But whether Trump acknowledged it then and there, it's always been a lingering possibility.

Thanks America... you out-did yourself this time.
The way I see it is that almost 80 million Americans voted for Trump directly. Then we have the regional elections, state, county, city...etc. and we see Republicans running some of these entities, e.g. the Red states, with Republicans having the majority in both their house and senate. A POTUS that rules by EO. No debates, and no governance through the people. So as I see it, more than half of Americans who voted wanted this. And those who didn't vote, were indifferent.
Take a bow, America. Energy costs are up worldwide, you tariff'ed the living shit out of most the planet. Your President is a felon, a well-known conman, and pedophile. This is closest we've been to a nuclear war in over 60 years.
On behalf of us non-Americans....Well done, You win!
