Who was your gay/straight awakening character as a kid?

Apologies if this has been done to death - mods, please feel free to kill this if that's the case. I'm interested to see what sort of differences there are between gay and straight icons in film, and where they overlap. If you are willing, please clarify whether your answer was your gay, straight or bi crush. TV characters can be included too!

For me, the e***** androgyny in the dream sequences was like, "*whoa, what just happened there*?" This came out when I was in high school and it let me to question some assumptions I'd made about myself.

I'm Straight. Mine is a cartoon character which might be weird, I dunno. Gadget from The Rescue Rangers gave young me pants feelings.
