Every time there’s a sale, I’m either late, the code doesn’t work, or everything’s sold out.
Lucky draws? Never won anything in my life.
At this point, even “guaranteed rewards” feel like a scam…for me.
I mean everything you listed in the first sentence (minus the code thing, which could just be multiple issues) are things you have control over. If it's stuff you're interested in then sign up for emails from them, pay attention to when they advertise their next sale, etc. The people who get the best deals put in the effort to know when that stuff is happening so they can take advantage of it.
And as far as lotteries go, lots of people have never won that kind of stuff so that's pretty common.
But yeah, you're not "excluded" you're just not putting in any effort yet expecting to reap the same rewards as those who are.

Not sure what sales you’re talking about, but for the really good ones, it’s often limited to stock on hand or in the case of local car ads, a single VIN.
The sale one(s) is often gone before the ad even runs. Just gotta be luckier than thousands of others and stumble across it.
I’m not luckier than thousands of others either.

I look at clearance sections every single day I work at my store. I study the ad and use the app to verify all my deals are activating at the time of checkout. I use two coupon apps that reward me just for buying what I already buy. It all adds up but yes it’s a process and somewhat of a hobby for me.
