Maybe just me, but I just struggle to find the shows I am watching when I am on Primes webpage. I’ve got to like search for the show. So minor, but like how is this lot a feature. Anyone else?
It’s not just you, the UI is absolutely f****** awful. ANY other streaming service has better interface.

It was sorta forgivable when it was “just” a freebie that came with Prime shipping but now it’s functionally worse by a wide margin AND riddled with annoying ads

Yes but not much. They’re all shit and somehow they all seem to get worse with every redesign.

Jesus. This one is crappy. If you don't know something is on it, you won't see it. Nearly everything I've watched on there is because someone recommended it.

I want a favorite row. Let me add the 4 things I watch to a shortcut.
My kids watch a very popular show a ton on prime and we have to search for it 70 percent of the time. It's never on the. Recently watched.

Same with Disney plus I can never find recently watched if it even exists on there

Because it’s still widely regardered as the worst designed app out of all of the big streamers. Bezos might have more money than God but all of the products are effectively dogshit.

Every single streaming app is dogshit but Prime is definitely the worst.

On the main page, I just go down about 6 or so rows and they have a "recently watched" row. Should be first, of course, but it is there.

They want you to see things to buy.
No one wants to you start with your queued shows or be able to see the 100 movies they have in a category. It's about selling, not being useful.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they put the recently watched list behind an extra $1.99 a month.

Prime now wants $4.99 a month to go ad free. If it didn’t come “free” with Amazon Prime, I wouldn’t pay $2.99/month for an ad free version. By far the worst streaming service.

Worst UI of any service. At least it's improved recently. Remember when they listed each season of a show as its own thing? At least they are ordered under their own shows now.
However I recently went to watch the Company Retreat reunion show and it took me forever to find it. I assumed it would be additional episodes but that actually is its own "series"

On Mobile I just tap the profile icon and that brings you to your watchlist. Recently watched will likely be at the top there. Unsure how this looks on TV

This happens to me a lot, especially if I try switching this between the LR/BR. They also drop shows I add to my watch list, which I don't understand if I'm signed into my account. They all seem to do it.

Not to mention even finding a show you’re looking for in the search. Sometimes I swear they don’t even show at all when you search the exact title.

It took me forever to find the latest episode of Invincible. I scrolled through all of the TV series sections and menus. Then just went into search and typed it in, it didn't come up (just the Atom Eve special). I seriously started questioning if the new season was even on Prime until I went back to the main page and there it was right at the top suddenly.
You'd think with one of their biggest shows coming back, they'd have the new episode or the series prominently displayed the day after it was put up. Not have to enter in a secret code to get to it.

GavilianApr 11, 2026

My favorite is when they put shows they want you to watch in front of your continue playing. IE: New season of invincible is at the front of my continue watching every day, haven't touched it since last season.

I think they do it on purpose to get you to watch their other c***.
I only go there for Invincible now but every time I log back on, I have to do a searching game for it again. Amazon prefers to advertise their 5 new crappy ass shows I will never watch.

Yes! I also can never find when movies are leaving. (And they seem to leave quickly.) It’s the worst user experience (seemingly by design). Amazon would really prefer you buy something rather than watch what’s there.

It’s on purpose. It’s not that they can’t build a better UI, they don’t want to. They don’t want you to actually watch anything because that costs money. The worse the UI is the less likely you’ll actually stream something. Same reason they barrage you with shows/movies from add-on channels you don’t have - fomo, buy one more channel and you’ll never miss out. The best scenario is when you pay for the subscription but don’t use it. It’s very obvious dark patterns. Enshitification.

Since Prime Video is NOT Amazons main business - they staff the service with second and third tier managers & programmers. This means they do not test or create the UI like Netflix does.
Since Prime is an add-on to Amazon shipping - there is little to no interest in making a good interface or make it easy to get to your watchlist. Instead they promote other services or pay per view movies in the main screen. They dont really want you to find your watchlist
