Luckily, not many people need the worlds biggest condom

Now if it was the world’s smallest condom maker, then I would be worried.

Agreed. I mean, he does amazing work and his little hands definitely make a difference on the reservoirs, but he was already pretty pricey. If he jacks them up I'll take my business elsewhere.

His pricing seems to be kinda up and down with all of these issues, I've noticed that his company does have a firm grasp and pull on his demanding base such as me

Might actually be a good thing if it helps increase birth rates across the world, which is a BIG impending disaster at its current rate

The notion that the world NEEDS more people is ridiculously stupid, given the costs to our global resources and the effects on our environment.
It’s INSANE in fact. Utterly ridiculous.
(But I will grant you that to maintain our standard of living, we’ll need to increase global productivity.)
1
DogtorPepper8 hr ago
+1
No we do NEED more people. Society doesn’t work if there aren’t more young people relative to the number of old people
Otherwise who takes care of older people who are unable to work?
This is not just a money issue. You physically need enough young people working as doctors, farmers, caretakers, etc along with millions of other critical jobs to support society. AI does help, but it’s not going to be enough anytime soon
This issue is compounded by the fact that people are living longer and longer
1
Crowley-Barns8 hr ago

If you increase productivity you need fewer people.
That’s it.
That’s the answer.
Shortsighted people couldn’t conceive of a world without millions/billions of farmers.
Shortsighted people couldn’t conceive of a world without millions/billions of factory workers.
Shortsighted people can’t conceive of a world that runs more efficiently.
The lack of ability to extrapolate forward, to maintain a “The way we do things today is the best way and we’ll never get better!” belief is so damn ignorant.
It’s absolutely bizarre that some people think we’ve peaked in efficiency and that the only answer is more humans. Like… can you not look at the path of human development and extrapolate forward a smidge?!?

imagine thinking saving money was being safe and responsible then everything is raised in price over 100% within 5 years because of 1 guy

Not 1 guy. A lot of people are responsible. A handful are just way too recognisable and at the front.

A *lot* of people.
174 million Americans were registered to vote in the 2024 election.
99 million of those registered voters made a conscious decision *not* to vote for Kamala Harris.

SillyGoatGruff13 hr ago

And an infuriating amount of those 99 million still refuse to take responsibility for that

"Don't worry, we didnt vote for Trump, sorry for what we are doing." (Trying to appeal to my Canadian nature by apologizing 😂)

So this is how they fix the dropping birth rates. The Iran war makes a lot more sense now…
Next, they’ll find a reason to ban vasectomies.

Not sure why they don’t just arbitrarily raise prices more anyway, most western countries condoms are 90 percent subsidised. It’s an inelastic good that’s subsidised.
So long as they wear their own product when they screw the tax payers in the ass.
