Because America is fighting Trump's wars on Trump's whims, because Trump sees himself as our king and apparently the GOP Congresspeople see nothing wrong with that.

Every Democrat needs to tattoo this admission onto their foreheads. Trump said we can’t pay for care, housing, and other services because of wars. Every time a Democrat is asked how they plan to pay for something, it’s simple: no new wars. Investing in public prosperity and peace is profitable. Just not for these war hawk radicals. In that spirit, I want Democrats to make a pro-worker agenda for Reconstruction 2029 to free us from coercive exploitative wage slavery as even Lincoln’s Republican Party acknowledged: - Universal Care - Universal Housing - Universal Income If you can walk away from your job without losing your home and healthcare and bread on the table, you can actually afford to work for jobs and organizations you believe in. Stupid shit like mass layoffs due to AI hype bubbles become less devastating. We need workers to have far more leverage in the marketplace than they do now.

The attack ads write themselves. Maybe I'm just jaded but I want Dems to go hard. I want Republican voters to feel uncomfortable as all of Trump's bullshit is blasted at the as November approaches Sadly they probably won't

Dems aren't going to run on a defunding the military platform.. I mean they should, but they're just as complicit in funding the machine that makes healthcare 'expensive'.. that's before even touching a pro worker platform where the workforce has leverage.. they've spent the last several decades defanging workers, why would they pivot?

The Democrats aren't going to save us. The people funding them are getting wealthy right now. The options on the ballot will only support the Epstein Class.

GOP Congresspeople are very happy with what they see as crusader wars and are more than overjoyed to bring about biblical end times. If it takes a king to do it, especially one who is so easily manipulated; all the better. Democracy election rigging takes a lot of effort; decades of effort. Having a king bypasses all the messiness and legal fees.

>GOP Congresspeople are very happy with what they see as crusader wars  Their constituents less so. This is why it's important to hammer the point.

The more power they give him, the more he will want and take. He is such a cancer on this country. How long until he orders mass extermination camps? How long until he seizes all properties owned by registered Democrats? How long until he drops nuclear weapons on US cities? And how long are they just going to sit there and let him?

The judicial branch has ruled that everything the executive branch does is lawful, and the legislative branch has been overrun by criminals and conmen who’ve abdicated their duty. That’s where we’re at right now. Every Republican Congressmen and SCOTUS judge is only in their position to enrich themselves and to let Project 2025 do its thing. This was all planned. They vetted all these people beforehand.

And Trump is using the war to manipulate the economy in ways that make him tons of money. Money he probably won’t ever pay taxes on because he’ll get the IRS to make some rule to not care.

Don’t forget he added Medicaid and Medicare to that list!

So the solution for child care funding is finally found. Just stop starting wars. Couldn't be simpler.

Trump can go f*** himself. He can get his funds from his pedophile billionaire friends.

We need to become Switzerland for 50 years to pay off our debts.

Please take the sound clip and replay it on every video ad for the midterms. I don’t want a single person of voting age in America to go without hearing him say this

I can't believe this headline left out that he mentioned MEDICARE and MEDICAID in the same breath. Childcare is an important issue, but pales in comparison to the importance of everyone's Medicare and Medicaid.

Even without a war, the GOP has no interest in paying for things that help Americans.

cmdr_suds Apr 2, 2026 +3
It's my patriotic duty to give up my healthcare so we can win the war

It will sit really well with the midterm voters and long after, the demise of the GOP for remaining silent and complict.

Will just say again. They're telling you they can't have healthcare or childcare for Americans to pay for *Israel's* war, but American's are still paying for *Israel's* healthcare. And not a word about that.

Conservatism is basically "protect the unborn, respect the dead, screw the living".

Is this what happened when W.Bush was in? I don't remember reading that particular headline back in 2002 when there seemed to be at least 2 wars happening at the time.

Now we believe what Trump says

This needs to be broadcast 24/7 until midterms. It nears Bush 1’s “no new taxes” by a thousand miles.

Americans need to be protected from foreign terrorists, bombs landing on them, illegal alien criminals and radical left, so we can ensure they can starve and claw at scraps in peace and harmony without being at the mercy of those threats.  So having them go to one less trip to Starbucks, 3 less meals per day (it battles childhood obesity), skip the doctor visits, 5 days less of school for their kids, allowing corporate phasing out half of the lower level job positions, mandating lower level earners to work more hours, mandating women to risk their lives and health to force a failed childbirth for religious projection, restricting the use of pronouns... These are all fair asks in return for what we do to protect them.

no... it can't afford *anything* because of a greedy corporate class. CEOs and boardrooms and the like are ticks and leeches.
