Dude, I could use this right now. My partner of three years decided he wanted to throw our potential for a real life together away for some girl (sorry, she’s 15 years younger than us…) that liked his voice and found him online just weeks after I visited him for Xmas/NYE… Just like that, I’ve always hated him and now he hates me too, I should take my life, I should get murdered by ICE at a protest l, and I deserve to be alone (all according to him). Alternate weeks is better - less that needs to be covered in the continuity briefings, and easier to get some long term projects covered, and gives more opportunity to travel or just binge TV and video games for the other one. Alternate months might not be a bad idea either. Give even more time for travel. Might have to wrestle over who gets to go to which good location - or make it a whoever cums last gets to go contest.

The thing with the alternating work thing is, the clone is going to have living expenses too. So like, two of us under one salary isn’t going to work. Depends if we always share experiences and memories, or if we split after meeting. If we assume we always share experiences and memories, just become the best at something. You have a huge advantage over regular people now because you learn anything at twice the speed, but it's not a regular twice the speed because everything compounds. If you learn an instrument, you can compress four years into about one year if you both have separate teachers who have different specialties. One of you makes a mistake, your other part immediately fixes it and develops something new.
