Look, I don't like the man at all, but he came up with that name when he was like 14 or 15, and once he got popular, it wouldn't make any sense to let go of his "brand." There are a lot of things I hate about him; his name is not one of them. There are a lot of other YouTubers with silly names like Mr Who's the boss.

From the little I know about Mrbeast, the company operates with very little profit. They spend a ton of money to generate a lot of views. It's possible that this was influenced by Amazon who actually do care about 5 million dollars, because they have shareholders

His business might operate with little profit, but he certainly doesn't. He's admitted he's got a good chunk stashed away just for himself. And from how shady he is about much of his business practices, and the fact he's built his entire brand on exploiting children, I'd not doubt for a second that his "good chunk" is farrrr more than he lets on.
Just look at his entire persona, he's not a good person.
