His h******* fans need to move on. The snydercut sublistnook is full of comments so sure hes coming back

He fully enables them though despite him being ‘friends’ with James Gunn.

I’m no Snyder fan, but Gunn’s Superman film was shit.

Na. It was pretty enjoyable.

Eh, not really

Don't forget shitting on James Gunn. They can't find any joy in life so must shit on the thing that's "fun" instead of their sweet, sweet Snyder's grim bleakness.

I watched the JG Superman movie & was not enthralled by it. Everyone’s entitled to an opinion of course.

I hate that he keeps posting old pictures because it’s just fueling the flames. He’s an enabler at this point

No please dont. I didnt enjoy rebel moon or any of his other recent projects. Let him just stay hyper focused on his dead version of dcu.

Honestly, getting really baked and imagining rebel moon is in the 40k universe made it kinda fun. Slo mo harvesting is for bathroom breaks.

He needs to “Release the Synder Cut” from his life

NineNinety4 2 days ago +2
So do the demented fans who think his Justice League movie is some legendary piece of art. They are one of the most overly sensitive fan bases I've ever seen lmao
2
secretreddname 15 hr ago +1
I can only imagine what those fans look like in real life.

“Release the Snyder cut” is now a plea to Zack to let this whole thing go finally

Im_TroyMcClure 3 days ago +8
Zack knows it’s never coming back but he’ll keep leaving crumbs for his fanbase so they keep supporting him
8
DoubletapKO 2 days ago +1
And so they can keep harassing James Gunn and DC and every actor that joins DC
1
Im_TroyMcClure 2 days ago +2
It’s kinda ironic that snyderbros are partially responsible for one of the biggest wins in any fandom and how they responded afterwards ensured no studio will ever cave into fan pressure like that again.

The worst scene in history is when that village starts singing when aquaman was leaving. I hate it

Why do you hate it

Having seen both versions, they are both very mediocre. One is just slightly less mediocre than the other.

varnums1666 3 days ago +15
The movie is worth watching just as a case study. It's rare to have two versions of the same film by different directors.
15
Wazula23 3 days ago +8
I'm good.

varnums1666 3 days ago +9
I see. So you value your 4 hours. Wise.

The Exorcist prequels are the only other one I can think of.

Bro, this dude had years to listen to all the feedback of fans, and then rerelease the movie. Hardly an accomplishment to have an incredibly unique opportunity to correct something, and still release something mid
8
Booster_Tutor 3 days ago +4
It may be mid but at least it was also very long

inigos_left_hand 3 days ago +9
I’d say the Snyder cut of JL is significantly better than the theatrical release. It’s still not great, but it did become a mid tier superhero movie IMO.
9
GenoThyme 3 days ago +20
I’d argue the theatrical version is better because they’re both not good movies but theatrical wasted less of my time.
20
inigos_left_hand 3 days ago +7
Hard to argue with that.

EchoesofIllyria 3 days ago +3
The Snyder Cut, although better than the theatrical release, is FAR below mid-tier. It’s still a dreadful film.

Significant-Sun-5051 7 hr ago +1
All the things I hate about Whedons version are also in the Snyder cut, just padded out with more c***. It’s better yes, but still quite bad.
1
DoubletapKO 2 days ago +2
Kinda sad that he needs to release 5 hour or so versions of his shit film and they are still pretty shit
2
zenexo 22 hr ago +1
Tbh it was the first cbm he made that I could stand but it's too long to ever rewatch. But there's still plenty of bad scenes. The joker scene is definitely one of them.

Shreddersaurusrex 3 days ago -12
It’s essentially a comic book Crisis arc in movie form. If you’re not a CB fan, you wouldn’t get it.

Ironsam811 3 days ago +5
It’s just crazy he filmed a four hour movie knowing full well it would have to be cut significantly. Scripts for big budgets should be complete and efficient.
5
ShimmiShimmiYah 2 days ago +2
Well that confirms he did a shit job at telling the story then. I never read any of the marvel comics either but all of the movies from Iron Man 1 to End Game kept me engaged and provided a cohesive narrative.
2
Shreddersaurusrex 2 days ago -2
“A director did a bad job because I couldn’t focus on the film.” I suggest you watch Teen Titans Go. Would probably be more your speed.
-2
ShimmiShimmiYah 2 days ago +1
Sure, that's why. Whatever you need to cope I guess. The few friends I know that follow DC comics hated the movie because he butchered those stories apparently, where as it is just a "meh" movie for me. They absolutely *hated* what he did with BvS, especially Doomsday.

Shreddersaurusrex 2 days ago -2
Blame the WB execs for meddling with his vision & wanting to emulate the IW/EG success Marvel was having.
-2
ShimmiShimmiYah 2 days ago +3
Anything to avoid criticizing Snyder. Wasn't that the whole point of him releasing the 4hr movie? Mind you, a good director can tell a cohesive story within a normal runtime. I feel kind of bad for you not letting yourself enjoy the marvel movies like the rest of the world. They're fun movies, at least up through End Game. Snyder fanboys are so freaking weird. He's never making another DC film, move on bro.

Movies used to be 3-4 hours ‘ya know I enjoy diff movies, I just was really invested in the plot-line Zack chose with Darkseid & the new gods material.
-1
ShimmiShimmiYah 2 days ago +2
A very small number sure but far from the norm. And this definitely ain't Gone With the Wind or Ben Hur. This is getting sad now.
2
secretreddname 15 hr ago +1
3 hours is fine if it wasn’t ass.
1
redleg50 3 days ago +2
With respect, if I have to read a comic book (or any supplemental material) to make a movie good, then it’s not a good movie. This is the same problem a lot of recent Star Wars movies have - “How did Palpatine return? “You have to read such and such book because that explains it” Marvel fell into the same trap. A movie should tell an effective, self contained story. I never read LoTR, but the movies were good. I never read Dune, but the movies were good.
2
Nasty_Goblin 2 days ago +13
The movie was ass. The Snyder cut was extended ass.

I’m so f****** tired of Zack Snyder and all of his fans. His movies blow. The only one that’s half decent is Dawn of the Dead.

This is like the ex who purposely puts up IG stories of their new perfect life trying to convince you they have moved on when they haven't.

Ah, so specifically it was released streaming in India, and it's doing really well there. That makes sense. I'm a bit confused how it wasn't released streaming there before though.

Nothingburger article - an Indian streaming app now has a partnership with Warner Bros so it's the most popular movie on that app now. Apparently it edged out Sambhavam Adhyayam Onnu, which has a budget that would get you a decent 2 bedroom in many suburbs.
